Anyone else tried VR Porn?

I've been into VR for a couple of years now since the Oculus Rift first came out. There is some great content for gaming, education, etc but nothing that keeps me coming back for more than the initial 15 minute novelty experience.

VR Porn however is the killer app for this new platform. Even though it takes more time to set up the system and it can be messier when you can't see where you're jizzing, the experience is way beyond that of porn on a 2D flat screen. Over the past two years Naughty America, WankzVR, Virtual Porn and a handful of others have all upped their production game and enlisting more hot porn stars to do VR Porn.

It's still an awkward medium but I'd say that I've had VR wank sessions that I enjoyed more than some mediocre MPAs.

If you're curious. Don't waste time with Google Cardboard it will make you feel sick. Get a Samsung GearVR or Google Daydream which are both around $80 if you have a compatable phone. Or get an Oculus Go for around $270 if you want an all-in-one system - no phone required. (It may end up saving you money if you're trying to cut back on Hobbying.)

Streaming is not fast enough for a good experience yet so you have to download video files and transfer to your system.You can download free content from Pornhub, PornFox and few others. Better quality full length videos available to pirate via Torrent but this may actually be one of the first times in history it is worth paying for a subscription to a membership to WankzVR or Naughty America.

The future is now perverts! We'll all be fucking sex robots in the next decade.

You're not wrong about saving money in the long run... even though I'm broke right now, I was considering going to an MPA - instead I fired up the Oculus Go got a good release... didn't even leave my bedroom. It'll never replace the real thing - but it's a lot of fun.

Nobody is saying that this is comparable to the real thing. But I'm assuming that if most of the guys regularly hobbying are like me, they're probably jerking off to porn most of the days that they're not at the spa. (If you can afford to go to an MPA every day then you're in a very different financial situation than most guys on the board and you could probably be using SeekingArrangement to get yourself a high maintainance10/10 sugar baby) If you watch a lot of porn you're going to get desensitized to your standard hardcore porn.

VR is just that next level of novelty where if it's done well it fools your brain (at least partially) into thinking that it's real. I have been doing VR Porn for about 2 years and it's still a way more intense experience than watching on a laptop/phone/TV. For myself I can actually quantify it: way bigger load for VR vs traditional porn.

It's still early days for the technology too - we're basically at the equivalent of the grainy VHS of the early 80s for this medium and its going to get exponentially better with every year. There are already haptic attachments (imagine a fleshlight that is synced with the thrusts in the video). Before there are hyper realistic sex robots, there will probably be "smart" fleshlight, vibrators, etc that people will use together with increasingly high definition VR Porn in smaller, less cumbersome goggles. Porn always leads the way in new technologies!

Good videos use tricks like binaural audio where a girl whispers in your ear while she's fucking you. There can also be very strange experiences like if the male POV pornstar is black and you as a white/asian viewer look down and see a big black cock. Agree it's a dumb term. Probably one of the biggest problems for the new industry is that they can't come up with better terms than Virtual or Augmented Reality. And they keep inventing new terms like Mixed Reality and XR as a catch all for all these new things.

Don't get hung up on the names though. The experiences you can have are already super impressive. There are arcades popping up all over Toronto where you can try non-porn games and movie experiences.

The term "virtual reality" dates back to the 80's.
It's one of the reasons so many of the pop culture references in Ready Player One are from the 80's, when VR was in its infancy.
